Race Against Dementia (RAD) is on a mission to beat dementia — and we’re proud to support them.
Dementia affects millions of people worldwide, and it touches families in ways that are often hard to imagine. Race Against Dementia, founded by racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart OBE after his wife Helen’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, is taking action to change that. the charity channels a “Formula 1 mindset” of speed, precision, and teamwork into groundbreaking dementia research.
RAD funds the world’s brightest early-career researchers and research teams, backing innovative projects that mainstream funding often overlooks. Their goal isn’t just incremental progress — they aim for breakthroughs: better diagnostics, new treatments, and ultimately prevention or a cure.
The charity focuses on empowering early-career researchers to pursue bold, innovative approaches that traditional funding might miss. By supporting young scientists and nurturing future leaders in dementia research, they’re pushing to accelerate discoveries that could transform lives.
Every donation, every event, and every bit of awareness helps fuel research that matters — research that brings hope to the 55 million people affected worldwide and to the millions more who love them.

Every £ raised, every event supported helps fuel this fight. By combining passion (for cars, community, and causes) with purpose, we can help RAD speed up the race against dementia.
